Updated November 2, 2026. Offers and availability may change.
Waves is giving away a brand-new plugin this Black Friday, and signup starts November 2. The plugin is scheduled to arrive on November 27, 2026. Its name and features have not been announced in the information Waves has shared with me so far.
If you record vocals, make beats, or mix your own music, this is worth putting on your radar. You can sign up ahead of the reveal, then decide where the plugin fits once we know what it does.

- Release date announced by Waves: November 27, 2026.
- The offer: a brand-new plugin, free through the Black Friday promotion.

How to Sign Up
Use the official Waves signup page through my link and follow the instructions shown there. Check for any confirmation step, and keep the email you use available for the release announcement. The Waves page is the place to check eligibility and the promotion’s current terms.
Signing up now is different from downloading the plugin today. November 27 is the announced release date. I’ll add the download and activation steps once those are available.
Why I’m Paying Attention as an Independent Artist

I’m Dylan Droll, an acoustic rap artist and mixing engineer. A lot of my music puts the vocal right in front of the listener. There is only so much processing you can add before you start covering up the feeling that made the take worth keeping.
That is the perspective I bring to plugin recommendations. When I try something new, I want to know what problem it solves and whether the performance still feels like me afterward.
If you’re new here, listen to “Every Time We Sing” or “Phases” for a feel for the music behind these guides. You can read my 2026 Waves vocal-plugin guide for more about the tools I use.
Waves Black Friday Deals Are a Separate Offer
Waves has also announced its November sale, including three eligible plugins for $49.99 and six for $99.98. If you already have a specific gap in your setup, my Waves Black Friday 2026 deals guide explains the offers and exclusions.
You can focus on the free-plugin signup without turning it into a shopping trip. If you do want recommendations, the guides below will help you choose based on the music you make.
