Leaked Song “Celeste,” Matching Tattoos, and a Dismembered Body: What’s Going On With D4vd?

D4vd Facing Scrutiny After Body Found in Tesla: Tattoo Match, Leaked Song, and Celeste Rivas Allegations

The story around breakout artist D4vd just took a dark and unexpected turn. What started as a weird headline about a body found in the trunk of a Tesla has now unraveled into a web of leaked songs, tattoos, Discord chats, and a missing 15-year-old girl named Celeste Rivas.

It all began when police in Los Angeles discovered dismembered human remains inside the front trunk (frunk) of a black Tesla that had been sitting in a tow yard for days. That car? Officially registered to David Burke—aka D4vd, the viral star known for hits like “Romantic Homicide” and for launching his career through BandLab.

Who Was Found in the Tesla?

The LAPD later confirmed the body belonged to **Celeste Rivas**, a 15-year-old girl from Lake Elsinore who had been reported missing since April 2024. Her identity was confirmed through forensic evidence, including a small tattoo on her finger that said **“Shhh…”** — a detail that set the internet ablaze after fans noticed D4vd has the same tattoo on his hand.

Was There a Connection Between D4vd and Celeste?

According to multiple reports, Celeste’s mother claims her daughter had a boyfriend named **David**, and they allegedly shared matching tattoos. Photos and social media screenshots have resurfaced showing Celeste and D4vd on what appear to be video calls and group chats — which has led many to speculate they may have had a relationship. One leaked message from a 2022 Discord server shows someone using the handle @d4vd asking: “Celeste in here?

At that time, if the screenshots are real, Celeste would’ve been just 12 or 13. That detail alone has sparked outrage across music forums, Reddit, and TikTok.

Leaked Song “Celeste” Raises More Questions

To make matters even crazier, a song titled “Celeste”—allegedly recorded by D4vd in December 2023—leaked shortly after the news broke. In the lyrics, he sings:

“Oh, Celeste
The girl with my name tattooed on her chest
Missing you so much makes me depressed…”

The track also references depression, suicidal thoughts, and obsession. Many fans believe it’s not just a coincidence the song shares the same name as the girl found in the Tesla. Some are now calling for a deeper investigation into the timeline of their communication, the recording date of the song, and whether the lyrics were based on a real relationship.

Fallout: Tour Canceled and Brand Deals Dropped

As more info began circulating, D4vd’s team reportedly canceled his Seattle tour stop. Meanwhile, brands like Crocs and Hollister have allegedly dropped the artist from active partnerships. Neither brand has made a full public statement, but the timing lines up with the release of evidence tying D4vd to the case.

Despite the headlines, it’s important to note that **no criminal charges have been filed against D4vd** at this time. Police say he is cooperating with the ongoing investigation, and the official cause of Celeste’s death has not yet been released.

A Personal Note From Me (Dylan Droll)

This whole situation is wild. I don’t know what’s true and what’s not, but it definitely hit me harder than most headlines. As someone who’s been grinding in the music world and watching artists come up through platforms like BandLab, it’s surreal seeing someone like D4vd in the middle of something this serious.

That emotional weight — confusion, loss, heaviness — it’s something I touch on in my own music. My new song “All Away” was written from a place of grief and detachment, and honestly, the more this story unfolds, the more I see why songs like mine resonate with people going through pain.
